Paul Le Jeune (1591–1664) was the supervisor of the Jesuit mission in Canada from 1632 to 1639 and served as procurator (an administrative position) for the mission in Paris from 1649 to 1662. He also served as one of the most important contributors to the collection known as the Jesuit Relations—a collection that serves as a vital source of information about the Native Americans of eastern North America in the seventeenth century.
