Abstract

In the turn of spring and summer this year, turmoil and then a counterrevolutionary rebellion in Beijing attempted to overthrow the leadership of the Chinese Communist Party and subvert the government of the socialist People’s Republic of China. Only later did it take drastic measures to crush the counterrevolutionary rebellion.
