Abstract

The problem of floating population is a common problem facing practically all developing countries. According to statistics, China currently has a floating population of approximately 80 million, of which 44 million are temporary residents registered with public security organs. Most of these temporary residents are people from rural areas engaging in industry and trade. The rational and orderly flow of the surplus rural laborers plays an important role in promoting economic development and social progress.
