Abstract
Juice, and anti-gay activist during the 1970s. She was a driving force behind a campaign to repeal a gay civil rights ordinance passed in Dade County, Florida, in 1977. In October 1977 gay rights activist Tom Higgins threw a pie in her face during a press conference she gave in Des Moines, Iowa. The following is a transcript of what transpired.
