The Discourses are a compilation of the teachings of the Indian mystic and spiritual master Meher Baba, given to his inner circle of disciples in the 1930s and 1940s. Although this series of messages was offered over an extended period (usually cited as being between 1938 and 1943), the Discourses present a coherent set of guidelines for the spiritual advancement of humanity. This book is generally considered by followers of Meher Baba to be his second most important work after God Speaks (1955), which offers his most complete description of the process and meaning of life.
