Abstract
“The Story of My Life” is a five-part, serialized and autobiographical account of the life of Christine Jorgensen, a transgender woman who became a prominent figure in the mid-twentieth century. It initially appeared in the February 15, 1953, issue of The American Weekly. Her story played a crucial role in shaping public discourse around gender identity and transgender issues.
