Abstract

Carmen Perez (1977–) is an activist for women’s rights and the rights of Hispanic Americans. A graduate of Oxnard College and the University of California–Santa Cruz, she served as one of the cochairs of the Women’s March on Washington, where she delivered this speech on January 21, 2017.
