Ellen Johnson Sirleaf accepted the Nobel Prize for Peace on December 10, 2011. In her acceptance speech, “A Voice for Freedom,” Sirleaf focuses on peace and women’s rights. She asserts that stability would bring new opportunities and change for everyone, especially women.
