Abstract

Understand how crises in Eurasia during the late medieval world, specifically in the Mongol Empire, Islam, and Christendom, created the conditions that allowed new empires to form and a new, modern civilization to emerge. In this unit, we have traced a series of events that brought world history from the “late medieval” period into the “early-modern period.
